"Our stay was magnificent. We arrived early from our flight, and they accommodated us immediately with a room, even before the check-in time. The breakfast and restaurants were really good. At checkout, they allowed us to stay longer at no extra charge before our flight back. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and located in a beautiful area. I definitely recommend staying here!"

"We stayed in the family room (changed from double), as the double room was a dark pit. The family room was spacious for 2 people, for a small additional fee. The hotel is in a convenient location, a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal, but there are no signs so its difficult to find. There is a shortcut through the hotel, which we didnt know about until the final day, so ask the staff about that. "The Pavilion shares the same facilities as the well known the Winter Palace Hotel. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Thinking back to the breakfast in the beautiful garden added a needed sense of peace in an area that often had lots of salesmen. The hotel is also conveniently located near Luxor Temple. I had stayed here the first time I went to Luxor, I stayed here again, and would stay here if I went to Luxor again. "

"Dining room staff were hit and miss; sometimes attended to us well and sometimes ignored us. Very little smiling. Same for the pool staff, had to wait an hour for towels after repeated requests for towels. Food was okay and some staff were good, but very different than what we are used to. Hopefully they do better in the future."
