"We had a great winter weekend at the cabin! The cabin was warmed up for us when we got there on a cold night, and was cozy and beautiful throughout our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cookware we needed, and the fireplace was easy to use and perfect to relax by while listening to the lake. Very convenient location to lots of great cross country skiing. "

"Only a couple things to complain about- the vending machines weren’t working or full and parking was definitely not easy when you go during prime snowmobile season! Overall it was a beautiful place. Met lots of new people and the staff were great and willing to work with us when we had to leave early. We would definitely stay here again probably when it’s a little warmer!"

"Solbakkon has kept the old school feel of the lake resort. We stayed in the motel part that was pet friendly. The room was dated, but expected. Everything was clean. A small kitchenette and dishes where perfect for breakfast. Walking around the property was beautiful. And the lodge was great with games and hang out space. The staff was friendly, even sweet treats offered!! We also stayed warm and comfortable in negative degrees."

"We came up for our yearly snowmobile vacation and the cabin was comfortable for 4 adults and 3 larger dogs. John is very easy to contact and checks in periodically during stay to make sure everything is going okay. Not far from snowmobile trails so you can ride right to the trails . We will definitely be back!!!!"
