"This is a typical roadside motel from the outside, but that impression vanishes when you open the door. The interior has been upgraded to a high level of finish, with comfortable mattresses and pillows, and the walk-in shower and large, thick towels are outstanding. The advantages of a motel are still there: it’s convenient to be able to drive up to your door, and outdoor seating is supplied for each room. "

"Easy access to both Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. Easy to unload luggage since you can park by the room. Loved the view and bed comfortable which was great. TV channels had no local stations which was ok but not ideal. Biggest complaint was no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands on arrival but fortunately I had some packed away to use. Seems a bar of soap sound be one thing supplied. Ice machine is in office so couldn’t get ice the following morning since office not open. The things we didn’t...

"An older motel that has been updated. Clean, modern decor. Had a oeaceful feeling there. Bathroom was small, small shower. But for one night stay it was perfect. Just outside of Lunenburg. Ocean right across the highway ... what a view!"
