"We were staying in Dubrovnik but had planned to have one overnight trip to Lumbarda via Korcula to explore the region. When we landed off the boat taxi in Korcula, we initially wondered why we had bothered, as it seemed like sleepy town, but once we had had a coffee and ice cream, and been picked up by Ksenija, our host, and whisked to our spotless apartment with wonderful views of the town and the bay, treated to local wine, bread and cheese, we quickly warmed to the place. Lovely garden provides substantial natural shade throughout the day and outdoor whirlpool provides for great cooling and massage. All the needed amenities are provided for and Mario is a great host, readily available in case of need. The house is very clean and is perfect for two couples or a family of four."
