"For the price and how close it was to Helen it was a good deal. I was there after Christmas when everything in Helen was very expensive so it was worth it. We also took a day trip to Dahlonega which wasn’t too far. As far as the room it was basic but good. No complaints for the price point. I could hear loud talking through the wall but I sleep with a white noise app so it didn’t bother me. No good local food choices just basic American. I will stay again. "

"The room was clean, I didn’t realize that it was right by the street but overall the service was great. She checked us in within minutes and for the most part everything was great."

"Our room hasn't been cleaned. And from the dust and what was wiped up in the tub I don't know how long it sat empty... the carpet very clearly hadn't been vacuumed. There were crushed potato chips and other crumbs on the floor. Many stains in the carpet as well. The bed was comfy and linens in it were clean. Bath towels had stains on all of the sizes. A/c worked great so that was good. We paid extra to have the jacuzzi room and when we wiped out the tub it was apparent the tub hadn't been...

"We enjoyed our stay, clean easy access, around the corner from downtown. Everything you need with the kitchen appliances. Nice bedrooms. Easy contact with owner if needed. One things, the balcony door needs to be better secured. Was very difficult locking the door, overall a good stay."

"Excellent Christmas vacation! Our only issue was that our entry code did not work &/or the deadbolt did not retract properly. We spent approximately an hour trying to get in. "

"The cabin was clean and tidy, everything worked except for the hot tub, which was disappointing as the hot tub was one of the reasons we had booked the cabin. The owners called for a repair but it was a holiday weekend and I don’t think a repair was feasible due to the holiday."

King Suite with Whirlpool Tub

"The hotel was great, as it always is. We stayed in the king suite with the whirlpool tub. The room was great, but the tub needs some refurbishing. The jets and all worked fine, but you could tell it's been in use for quite a long while. It wont deter us from staying here again. This is primarily the only hotel we stay at when visiting Helen. The staff are wonderful and always very friendly and helpful."

"We were traveling for a move from Clearwater, FL, to Gainesville. When we arrived rived, very late at night, we were greeted in a friendly manner. The property was comfortable clean and of generous size. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were off to our comfortable rooms in no time."
