"This place was mediocre and I probably would not recommend it for the price.. It was fairly spacious, had a decent view, walkable, good storage for clothes and the beds were comfortable. However, it was poorly maintained (light in bathroom was out with no bulb replacement, window shades broken), dated. dirty in some regards (stained towels, pots with stuck-on-food, cigarette smells, prior guests half eaten sandwich in fridge and socks on floor) and offered zero perks like some rentals. "We had a very pleasant stay in the French part of Saint-Gingolph. It was a great location for going hiking in the nearby mountains, and also for other activities around the lake. The house is nicely renovated and well equipped. It is clean and cosy and the hosts had provided us with all the information that we needed."
