"Our 3rd stay at Seaside Sanctuary and this time we stayed 2 weeks. Stacey is always super-communicative and the house has everything you could possibly need. We were able to get in some nice day trips down to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Milbridge, Calais, Eastport, Reversing Falls, Machias & Jasper Beach. We caught a sunrise at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and explored Cobscook Shores and points around Lubec and the Bold Coast. We spent about 1/2 the time there just "being" at...

"I loved looking out at the sunrise over the lake each day! Well located to see the rustic back country of Downeast Maine. The house was nice, though it was evident that animals stay there. The kitchen could be better equipped, and patio furniture needs refinishing. Overall, though, it was a great place to stay."

"Plenty of room for all of us to have some alone time, although we spent most of the time relaxing on the deck taking in the beautiful panoramic views. This is a sunny spot, and the weather was perfect all week! It could use another umbrella for shade because the deck is full sun most of the day, but we sat at a picnic table on the shady side of the house to get some reprieval. "PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked...

"This property is perfect for a family getaway with pets. The owner was very responsive to all our questions. The property had a lot to offer: Beautiful views. Large bedrooms. Access to the beach below. Lots of land with privacy. Close to a small town. We took their advice and got lobsters from Captain Matt's. They were delicious! There is one thing that could be improved: the beds could be more comfortable. Adding mattress toppers might help. We would definitely come back! "

"Home is just as described on VRBO Amazing views from home of Harbor, gorgeous sunrises. Home is over 150 yrs old , has been renovated with all modern comforts yet has maintained its charm. "Overall, our stay in Lubec was amazing! The location was fantastic - beautiful views, and less than 10 minutes from town. The house was lovely and well supplied. The lobster pot was perfect and the kitchen was very well stocked. There were a lot of flys in the house during our week there. Never did figure out where they came in the house, but they were bad and they did bite! Also a lot of spider webs that had not been knocked down in a while.
