Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (458)
"We were married here in 2015 and return regularly. It is a truely unique place, away from it all out in the beautiful Tasmanian rainforest. A place to relax, get in touch with nature, escape the hustle and bustle and recharge. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, if a little outdated. "Gorgeous log cabin. Each cabin had its own specifically Australian name - ours was Wombat. The bed was a little hard for me but my husband loved it so just personal preference. Great kitchen set up and would have màde more use of it if we'd stayed longer. Very close to cradle mountain visitor centre and other places of interest in the area. Set up with everything you need to be comfortable for a longer stay. Lovely host on reception friendly and helpul information. Would definitely stay again...

Take a break and unwind in this peaceful and relaxing bush setting

9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (3)
"The hut was a small room but the outside bathroom was amazing. Unfortunately the day I arrived there was a huge storm and the power was off. It did come on for short periods so i could boil the kettle etc. A great setting, private and comfortable. Im pretty sure someone has put a squeaky toy under the mattress ☺️ Even without power I enjoyed my stay. Pet friendly."
