"A perfectly peaceful place to stay. Lots of walks direct from the door. Amberfold had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. And we even got to see a deer from the front door! Would love to come back to do the rest of the serpent trail. Hosts were great and unobtrusive, but checked to see we were settled."

"Stayed for afew days for a wedding, our stay also included New Years eve. The cottage was perfect for the 4 of us with more space than we were expecting. We had a great time playing games and sitting round the log fire talking. The wi-fi was also good which was great for streaming movies etc. The weather was a bit wild when we were there so we didnt get the most from the walks that are on the door step. Good communication from Susie throughout our stay. Would certainly stay again. "

"The directions were accurate so we easily found the property and parking was more than adequate. It is on a very regularly used road so traffic noises were a minor issue. We were greeted by a very helpful and convivial host who lived on site so was readily available, (but not obtrusively so), to answer queries. The cottage was cosy and met our short stay needs well; we particularly enjoyed sitting reading by the log burner! Thank you Janet. "
