"Such a delightful historic inn! I arrived late on a rainy night and was so happy to melt into bed with fluffy pillows and blankets. The antique furniture, different in every room, added to the historic feeling of the place. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious, and the inn keepers were very friendly and accommodating. It was worth the trip from Burlington, even for just one night. I'll definitely be back when visiting my son, a UVM student."

"My husband and I did a long weekend away for our anniversary. Neither of us have ever been to Vermont so we figured we’d give it a try. The property is as described. Its a beautiful house, extremely clean, kitchen was very well stocked, and the house was extremely comfortable. Did not realize there was no TV completely missed that in the description however we did have my iPad and a speaker so we were able to watch TV. There is not much to do in the area in May however unless you have good days for hiking, which we did not it rained every day . But I’m sure in the summer when you can use the lake more and in the fall when they have different events as well as winter with the skiing, there would be so much more to do there. But if you want a very nice quiet time away without hustle and bustle, this is a perfect spot. We are hoping to go back during one of the other seasons, either summer or fall to experience a different time of year.. "

"My family and I had a great stay at this charming cottage. Our youngest enjoyed playing in the yard and making friends with the animals. We enjoyed the fresh eggs in the fridge (nice touch!). The cottage is cozy and has everything you need, including fast internet. The hosts are communicative and responsive. Highly recommend!"
