"The hotel is reasonable and fair - expected more for a 4-star. The restaurant is a negative point for me - you don't feel you are in a restaurant; it looks more like a regular room with tables and chairs (huge and heavy), which does not look great. The restaurant staff were not friendly, speaking too fast and low, which was hard to understand. Food took a long time and was nothing more than ordinary food. Rooms are not soundproof; you can hear everything from all the rooms when you are...

"The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. Even offering to pick us up in Candal after our very long misplaced hike. Definitely purchase any supplies before arriving as the tiny Mercado...
