"What a great stay! My daughters said it was the best place we stayed on our whole trip, and wish we stayed longer. We loved the remote location and beautiful setting. It is just a short walk past fields of grazing sheep and cows to Carrowinsky Strand, which is a stunning beach. The owner provided a packet with helpful information in nearby Louisburgh. The easiest way to find the property is to follow directions to Carrowinsky Strand and the house is on the left side about 800m from the beach. If...

"Attractive home with very comfortable furnishings. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, etc. We loved the sizes of the rooms and living areas. One improvement would be to provide an automatic drip or percolator coffee maker to complement the French press and providing small amenities such as shampoo. A walk into the very small town required navigating unfamiliar narrow country roads potentially in darkness depending on time of day."
