Superb property, amazing host
Excellent experience. Cottage is beautiful and well stocked and maintained. Garden is stunning and so well kept, all the plants are labelled. Kitchen very well outfitted, everything you need. Little garden house holds bbq, bikes, beach shades etc. No pool, but you know that and there are beautiful black sand beaches near. (try playa San marcos and playa des arenas at Buenavista). Walking distance to a few good restaurants and short drive or bus ride to others. Only drawback (sorry have to mention) is the busy road near which is a little noisy. You are private and safe but can hear it in the morning especially. Pablo is the perfect host, knows everyone and everything in the area, can recommend restaurant or arrange an airport transfer. The area is beautiful and quite different from the south of the island. We had a lovely 3 weeks there and are relaxed and tanned because of it. Would recommend.

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in dem apparten und charaktervollen Haus von Pablo verbracht. Das HƤuschen ist mit viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet, hat einen schƶnen Garten und bietet inmitten der Bananenplantagen einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Pablo ist ein prima Gastgeber.

Maison trĆØs agrĆ©able au coeur d une bananeraie dans une ambiance tropicale. Confort excellent, petites attentions trĆØs apprĆ©ciĆ©es. On s'y est senti chez nous tout de suite. Jardin propice Ć  la flĆ¢nerie. Un paradis Ć©galement pour des randonnĆ©es trĆØs aĆ©riennes, vue Ć©poustouflante. Un vĆ©ritable coup de cœur pour ces premiers pas sur l'Ć®le.

Stilvolles Ferienhaus in der Bananenplantage
Guter Ausgangspunkt um Wanderungen im Teno Gebirge und der Nordwest Seite der Insel zu unternehmen. Vom Ferienhaus durch die Gassen der Bananenplantagen und an der KĆ¼ste entlang zum Leuchtturm nach Buenavista del Norte und zurĆ¼ck ist auch eine zu empfehlende Strecke fĆ¼r Laufsportler. Das Ferienhaus mit Terrasse und der kleine gepflegte Garten sind mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Etwas stƶrend ist die oberhalb verlaufende StraƟe die teilweise frĆ¼hmorgens viel befahren ist. Es war eine gute Zeit zu dieser ā€žetwas anderenā€œ Zeit.

Pablo ist ein Vermieter wie man ihn sich wĆ¼nscht und sein Haus hat uns beide absolut befriedigt.
Klasse Unterkunft mit 2 Schlafzimmern mit 2 BƤdern (en suite). FĆ¼r Wanderer der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Man ist schnell im Tenogebirge, schnell in der Ananga/Masca-Ecke und am Teide sowieso. Los Silos ist ein kleines, ruhiges StƤdtchen und trotz der Lage im grĆ¼nen Norden nahe genug am Meer um den Passatwolken zu entkommen - wir hatten hier jeden Tag bestes, sonniges Wetter. Und - sehr zu empfehlen - die Bar "La Luz" nur 5 Minuten zu Fuss vom Haus aus entfernt. Hier kann man herrlich FrĆ¼hstĆ¼cken bei frisch gepresstem Orangensaft, 1/2 Cortados und warmen Tortillas, einfach genial. Und Ć¼berall freundliche Menschen. Wer sich lieber bei Massentourismus und allabendlichem Rambozambo wohlfĆ¼hlt der hat hier nichts zu suchen. Und nochmal, der Vermieter ist super.

PrĆ©sentation d'une trĆØs jolie maison, parfaitement Ć©quipĆ©e et dĆ©corĆ©e avec beaucoup de goĆ»t. PrĆ©sentation de documents Ć  caractĆØre touristique , magasins, restaurants, cartes... Schƶnes Haus, alles da, vielen Dank!
Tolle Einrichtung, weiter positiv war Ausstattung - es ist eigentlich alles da - sowie der schƶne Garten! FĆ¼r uns alles perfekt, was hier ja schon beschrieben wurde ist die nahe gelegene StraƟe, die man natĆ¼rlich hƶrt - im Garten und im vorderen Teil des Hauses stƶrt es aber nicht, absolute Ruhe hat man nicht.

Sehr schƶne Villa in gĆ¼nstiger Lage im Norden
Eigentlich verdient die Unterkunft volle Anerkennung. Will man aber den gesamten Aufenthalt auf Teneriffa bewerten gibt es Abstriche. Wir waren vor ca. 40 Jahren das erste mal auf dieser Insel. Ein Schock was sich besonders im SĆ¼den getan hat. Will man die Natur und UrsprĆ¼nglichkeit erleben (zumindest was noch vorhanden ist) ist man mit dieser Villa richtig beraten. Sie liegt zentral in der Mitte und man kommt gut Ć¼berall mit dem Auto hin. Das Haus ist TOP, schƶn eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts, super Betreuung, ein gepflegter Garten. Zumindest hier waren wir voll zufrieden. Jetzt kommt es natĆ¼rlich darauf an, was man auf Teneriffa erleben will. Legt man Wert auf Landschaft, Natur und Inselidylle ist der Norden genau richtig. Der SĆ¼den war fĆ¼r uns ein Fiasko. Allerdings gibt es auch im Norden EinschrƤnkungen. ParkplƤtze in den StƤdten Fehlanzeige. Hohes Verkehrsaufkommen. Die Insel ist zwischenzeitlich verbaut und Ć¼berbevƶlkert. Doch es gibt noch Lichblicke und die sollte man sich vorknƶpfen: Teno und Anaga-Gebirge, natĆ¼rlich der Teide-Nationalpark, vor allem die HƶhenstraƟe von La Laguna bis zum Teide-Nationalpark, Orte wie Garachico, die KĆ¼ste von El Sauzal, der Sonntagsmarkt gleich nebenan in Los Silos. Wenn man zur richtigen Zeit dort ist, eine "Romeria" z.B. in La Ortava. Die Tƶpferwerkstatt in Arguayo. Ɯbrigends noch eine Restaurantempfehlung (vom Besitzer): gleich in der NƤhe in La Caleta, das Restaurant "El Mundial 82". Die Fischplatte sagenhaft und insgesamt preiswert. Es gibt also noch lohnenswerte Ziele auf Teneriffa. Man muƟ sich nur auf die Suche machen, dann kann man auch hier noch einen schƶnen Urlaub erleben.

Tolles Haus an leider stark befahrener StraƟe
Das Haus ist ein Traum: es fehlt an nichts: KĆ¼che sehr gut eingerichtet, frisches Obst auf dem Tisch, ein paar GewĆ¼rze sind vorhanden, ElektrogerƤte funktionieren, Betten bequem mit genug Kissen, Kuscheldecke im Wohnraum fĆ¼r kalte Abende, auch im Bad alles da. Genug AblageflƤche. Sogar ein Tischchen zum Puzzeln. Es gibt zwei FahrrƤder mit Helmen und Schlƶssern, um in den Ort rein zu radeln. Auch der Vermieter ist freundlich und zuverlƤssig. Aber: das Haus liegt direkt an einer v. a. am frĆ¼hen Morgen sehr stark befahrenen StraƟe, wir kamen uns vor wie auf einem Parkplatz einer Autobahn. Das schmƤlerte unseren Genuss leider ziemlich. Leider ist das Meerwasser-Schwimmbad am Puertito von Los Silos gerade wegen Reparatur geschlossen; so mussten wir zum Baden immer recht weit fahren. Auch das leider suboptimal.

Very spacious and well equipped
Lovely property, very large main bedroom with 2 large bathrooms, and adequate twin bedroom. (The en-suite is open plan to the main bedroom but with a partition wall). Also good sized sitting room. Only problem was the weather all week (end of March) so couldnt enjoy the sun beds as hoped. Separate shed with washing machine and bikes.

Le coin s'avĆØre attachant parce que non touristique. Les propriĆ©taires se sont mis Ć  la place des vacanciers . AgrĆ©ment, maison et jardin entretenus soigneusement. Les deux VTT sont bien pratiques pour les ballades vers le bord de mer en contrebas ou pour aller prendre un verre sur la place du village de Los Silos. Accueil et disponibilitĆ© irrĆ©prochables. Le tout Ć  un prix raisonnable; alors on dit merci.

Excellent holiday home
One of the most thoughtfully furnished and equipped holidays homes I have stayed in. There seems to be nothing that has not been thought of. The location is excellent for Los Silos and very well situated for travel to any other of the lovely coastal or mountain villages. The bus to Puerto de la Cruz stops right outside the property or there is secure off road parking for a car. The only slight downsides are background traffic noise (but we got used to that over the course of our weekā€™s stay) and open plan toilet arrangements . Highly recommended.

Early December Break in a Superb Villa and Location
The villa had everything we needed and was immaculately presented . Very clean and welcoming. Great location being very quiet but close enough to Los SIlos for an easy walk into the village for dinner . Los SIlos itself has several good restaurants offering good local food at great value for money . Nice to be in a location that is not ā€œtouristyā€. Stunning scenery along the coast and inland . Thomas, the owner , was very welcoming , helpful and friendly . No hesitation in recommending Villa La Gomera.

Wunderschƶnes Haus in einer tollen Lage !!!
Wir durften 10 Tage in diesem wunderschƶn eingerichteten, sehr sauberen Haus verbringen. FĆ¼r 3 Erwachsene ideal - 2 Schlafzimmer mit je einem Bad - zwischen den BƤdern eine ZwischentĆ¼r, aber das 2. Schlafzimmer hat ein TĆ¼r nach drauƟen mit eigenem SchlĆ¼ssel. KĆ¼chenmƤssig fehlte aber auch gar nichts - alles vorhanden ! Sehr gemĆ¼tliches Wohnzimmer - das ganze Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet ! Die Terrasse und der kleine Garten wunderschƶn mit Blick Ć¼ber die Bananenplantagen zum Atlantik - auf der anderen Seite die grĆ¼nen Berge ! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt und hatten mit dem Besitzer Pablo einen netten und kompetenten Ansprechpartner. Zum Essen gehen absolut empfehlenswert das Restaurant Mundial 82 im benachbartem Caleta de Interior - die Fischplatte ist einfach spitze. Wir wĆ¼rden jederzeit wieder kommen !

Wieder ein toller Aufenthalt!
Die Villa "La Gomera" ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um den touristisch weniger erschlossenen Norden Teneriffas zu erkunden. Das Haus selbst ist ƤuƟerst gepflegt, und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Im Garten, der alle zwei Tage gewƤssert wird, steht ein kleines Haus mit Grill, Waschmaschine, FahrrƤdern und BĆ¼geleisen! Es fehlt wirklich nichts, und alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Die sehr zuvorkommenden Vermieter wohnen nur einen Steinwurf entfernt, und sind bei Fragen immer erreichbar. Wir sind bereits zum zweiten Mal in dem Haus gewesen, und werden sicher wiederkommen. Wer in den Nordwesten fƤhrt, sollte nicht Ć¼berrascht sein, wenn es auch mal ein wenig bedeckt ist. Der Passat weht die Wolken aus genau der Richtung an, und diese bleiben dann hin und wieder an den Bergen hƤngen. Da ohnehin ein Auto benƶtigt wird, sind dies ideale Ausflugstage, an denen man der Sonne ja hinterherfahren kann. Die Villa liegt nur wenige Kilometer vom StƤdtchen Garachico entfernt, das viele fĆ¼r den schƶnsten Ort Teneriffas halten. Wir teilen diese Ansicht. Als Restaurant-Empfehlung mƶchten wir das "El Mundial 82" in La Caleta geben. Hier sitzt man bei gutem Essen mit Blick auf die Klippen. Auch das "La Perla" und das "Arestides" in Garachico sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Wonderful holiday
We had the most wonderful holiday staying in this lovely house. We had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves with our two young children, and we didn't have to worry about their safety either as it's all enclosed. We liked having the pool nearby that we could use, but we also loved swimming in the rockpools in Garachico and going to the beach. We had fun biking around the immediate area using the bikes provided, and just enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden relaxing. The house and garden are just as nice as they look in the photos! Thank you for the lovely holiday - I've already recommended the house to the rest of my family!

Sehr zu empfehlen
Dies ist ein sehr schƶnes, super ausgestattetes, sauberes Ferienhaus in dem wir uns jeden Tag wohl fĆ¼hlten. Vorbereitung und Betreuung der Vermieter waren ausgezeichnet, der Kontakt Ć¼beraus freundlich und persƶnlich. Das Domiziel ist bester Ausgangspunkt um die schƶne Insel zu erkunden, viele SehenswĆ¼rdigkeiten wie Garachico, Icod de Los Vinos, La Orotava, Loro Park... sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Restaurant El Patio de Interian im Nachbarort La Calleta, dort erlebten wir die besondere, stilvolle kanarische KĆ¼che bei sehr freundlicher, persƶnlicher Bedienung.

Dear Laura, Paul and family We had such a brilliant holiday at Casa La Gomera, it was truly magnificent in all respects and the perfect tonic for a busy teacher like myself! We loved the seclusion and peacefulness of the villa and you have made a fantasit job of making it a "home from home". Thank you for the festive touches - sorry about the plant Laura, I did my best. Callum enjoyed making use of the games and jigsaw, for a teenager he is quite easliy pleased, he really enjoyed Mount Teide and tapas!! The area is lovely, and as seasoned travellers always enjoy being without other British tourists,so it was great to experience the real Tenerife, even with my very limited Spanish we got by and all the islanders we came in contact with were so friendly and helpful.We had real fun as a family and have come home re vitalised. sĆ©jour trĆØs agrĆ©able Ć  Los Silos
Nous avons passĆ© une petite semaine dans cette maison aux abords du village trĆØs authentique de Los silos, loin des concentrations touristiques du sud et nous y avons Ć©tĆ© trĆØs heureux. La route qui va Ć  Los silos et conduit Ć  l'extrĆ©mitĆ© de l'Ć®le passe Ć  proximitĆ© de la maison, mais elle n'est pas visible car entourĆ©e par les cultures de bananiers. Le bruit de la circulation est perceptible mais peu gĆŖnant, la nuit, le trafic Ć©tant quasi inexistant . La maison est d'une propretĆ© impeccable, trĆØs bien Ć©quipĆ©e Ć  tous points de vue :2 VTT en bon Ć©tat, une batterie de cuisine complĆØte et fonctionnelle, les produits de toilette de base, les denrĆ©es de premiĆØre nĆ©cessitĆ© et une grande corbeille de fruits qui nous attendait sur la table! Bref, une grande gĆ©nĆ©rositĆ© et un accueil trĆØs chaleureux de la part des propriĆ©taires qui savent se montrer disponibles tout en restant trĆØs discrets. Les ballades dans les environs proches( en vĆ©lo de prĆ©fĆ©rence!) ou plus lointaines ( El TeĆÆde- magnifique, la montagne de l'intĆ©rieur de l'ile), sont vraiment trĆØs pittoresques. Le climat doux (20- 25 degrĆ©s)nous a permis de nous baigner dans les piscines naturelles (en lave) de la jolie cĆ“te rocheuse Ć  5 minutes de la maison (en vĆ©lo) et nous n'avons regrettĆ© qu'une chose, ne pas ĆŖtre restĆ©s plus longtemps. Nous avons recommandĆ© cette location Ć  nos amis et nous y reviendrons certainement.

vacances heureuse dans les bananiers
Lorsque que l'on arrive par la route de la montagne on peux voir la mer au loin ,et la vĆ©gĆ©tation luxuriante de TĆ©nĆ©rife .ArrivĆ©e Ć  Los Silos petit village tranquille ou les habitants se rassemblent sur la place du village ,discuter boire un apĆ©ro!!On est accueilli par les propriĆ©taires et tout de suite en visitant la superbe maison,on se sent comme des membres de leur famille.Impossible de dire se qu'il manque dans cette maison ,car il ne manque rien!!! et les 2 salles de bains mesdames le bonheur!! On est comme chez nous !sauf que lĆ  vous pouvez matin,midi et soir manger dehors.....et mĆŖme prendre votre douche dehors prĆØs du palmier.. Le petit jardin est trĆØs bien entretenu et fleuri...Nous avons parcouru cette ile magnifique en voiture de location ou les gens roulent zen et sont courtois .le volcan Ć  faire comme nous un jour de ciel bleu et tellement dĆ©paysant!! A propos des supermarchĆ©s ils sont pas loin de la location tout y est et trĆØs propre Pour ceux qui aiment nager des supers piscines municipales ,dans les villages alentours et des plages de sables noirs ...nous en avons testĆ©s beaucoup .. Vous trouverez au salon plein de livres et brochures sur tout se qu'il faut faire Ć  Tenerife....et puis Paul &Laura sauront vous guider.........avec plaisir Bon sĆ©jour Cathy&Guy de Picardie (Beauvais)
