I stayed in a single pod and still had my privacy. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Málaga, and it was very affordable. I met a few great people and had some lovely conversations on my last day. I would absolutely recommend this hostel and will definitely stay here again when I return!"

"This hotel is basic but has everything you need. It was clean, the staff were friendly on check in and the rooftop pool and sunbathing area is a lovely addition for a relax. I did have breakfast on one of the mornings and there is plenty of choice and it’s worth what you pay for. The location is great, close to the beach and easy to get to most things in Malaga. Unfortunately my room was very close to reception, so between that and a group of extremely noisy men who were shouting and knocking on doors at all hours, I did not have a restful sleep for 2 nights despite the bed being very comfy. "

"We stayed 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Good location to restaurant’s and shopping mall just around the corner (and train station too). Direct train to airport journey time less than 15 minutes. Breakfast had a good selection of food choices. The highlight for us was the shower, you can choose different settings on the shower head. Would definitely recommend Barcelo. "
