"Oscar and Denis (sp?) were very sweet and welcoming! Place was very close to the beach and safe. It was high up enough to see the beach but not a real water view - I did not mind! The owners were good about not overusing water but the room had a clean filtered water to drink. The water is hard there so there was some buildup on faucets, utensils, etc.. A/C worked great! Bed was comfy :) The pool was lovely! The kitchen could have used a few updates in terms of cutlery and such - it was comfy...

"Stayed here 2 weeks. Communication was excellent. Mark and Deena advised us they would be providing a taxi which was waiting for us at the airport and to bring a few grocery bags. Taxi stopped at the main supermarket (10km away) and waited while we shopped then took us to the property where Mark greeted us. "Keshly is a very friendly and helpful host. We stayed at her apartment about 10 minutes from West End. We were absolutely impressed with the cleanliness modern amenities the water pressure and the cleanliness of the water. This apartment has everything you need to cook and relax and just kick off your shoes and have an amazing time. We will definitely consider staying again once we make our trip back to Roatan. "We loved the easy walk to the beach for the most incredible snorkeling! The covered porch and living area were great for reading, eating, and hanging out for the first couple days of rain. We like to cook and used the kitchen a lot. It was an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, dive shops, and grocery, so we didn't miss not having a car. The hosts were lovely, and we enjoyed the pool on a few evenings to cool down before bed. A trip to remember, thank you!"

"Pineapple Villas is a great base for exploring Roatan. Located in French Harbor, the condo is surrounded by restaurants (on site and close by), beaches and other tourist attractions. The rental was comfortable and large with lots of room to spread out. Communication with the property manager was easy and informative. Highly recommend this rental for your stay on Roatan."

"Nice clean unit. Management was helpful, courteous and always a quick response. It could use some storage in the bedroom for unpacking clothes. Restaurants are within walking distance, but having a car was worth it. I definitely recommend this property!"

"Our stay in the Port Royal suite was much too short. Cheryl and Misha’s friendly hospitality throughout our stay, was a lovely addition to the beautiful gardens and rooms. The exceptional ocean views from the suite are not done justice by a photograph, neither are the sunsets. Will definitely be back for another stay in paradise. "

"The Blue Bahia Resort is a small, beautiful place that is set among tropical gardens directly on the beach. The condos are efficient and have everything you need and more. "Puerta Azul is a quaint boutique style hotel with private little cabins. They have a nice restaurant and provide breakfast every morning. Everyone who works there is super nice and friendly. Location is quiet and away from the crowds of the West End. If you want to go anywhere, they provide transportation. The best part was snorkeling right off the dock. The reef was full of coral and fish. They also had free paddle boards and kayaks and you can rent snorkel equipment for $10 for the whole week. I will be back!"

Naboo Resort & Dive Center - Adults Only

"This was our second stay. Both times were wonderful. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We tried several things on the menu at the restaurant during our two week stay and found that everything is prepared with fresh ingredients and looks as good as it tastes. The restaurant staff filled our insulated cups and ice bag with ice every day. The cleaning staff have the place shining. It always smells clean in the common areas. The front desk staff were also great helping us get whatever we needed (taxis, extra towels). The owners are on site daily, talking with guests, and working to make your stay the best possible. We loved spending time on the balcony or at the pool/spa area where it feels like you have the whole place to yourself. The beach, restaurants, shops, and even West End are all within walking distance. We want to especially thank Omar, Kenneth, Eduardo, Elliot, Amy, and Sue (not her full name but she is at front desk). Although we didn’t get names of cooks or cleaning staff, we also thank them. I dive and the dive shop, divemasters, and boat captains can’t be beat!"
