"We absolutely loved the property. Looked just as listed. The host were very quick to respond to our needs. We already planning to stay again next visit. Very close to the beach, town and dining places. "

"This is a beautiful property in an incredible location. The beach is private with no motor traffic. Whale watching was outstanding. The beach is rocky and not ideal for long walks. There was not enough wind for kiteboarding during our stay. I think I could have launched from Waynes boat ramp, but definitely not for the novice. LB is a bit of a drive, but easy enough to get most of our meals in the unit. Wayne and Ann are gracious and generous hosts. They hosted a Super Bowl party for the small neighborhood and included us. The unit is new, large, well designed and comfortable. Wayne and Ann live in the adjacent house by the pool. We used the kayaks several times and flailed away in the horse shoe pits. Excellent stay!"

"Zida is an amazing person. She not only checked us in with ease and speed, she personally took us to our room, made sure everything was perfect, she did anything we asked. This place is in a remote but beautiful location, we loved it so much we added a night to our stay. They included an amazing delivered to your table continental breakfast, free bottle of wine, 15 minute massage, and 2 welcome drinks from the bar. We upgraded the massage to an hour for very little extra. The massage was awesome. Rosy has magic in those hands. We loved seeing the whales, Mobula rays, dolphins, and more. We didn’t snorkel yet but have been told it’s excellent. The value of this place is maybe the best I’ve ever experienced. The sunrises are beautiful if you can wake up early enough to see them. All in all we loved the place. "

"Casita Tortuga is a charming, classy place for a couple to take in all that the Sea of Cortez has to offer just outside of Los Barriles.It's right on the water -- making it easy to enjoy the jubilant mobula rays, breaching humpback whales, sea birds, sunrise, and stars. It's also a great place from which to snorkel and kayak. For people who enjoy birding, as we do, you will appreciate that the well kept gardens and fruit trees attract a range of non-sea birds too.The hosts are responsive both before and during the stay. Our check in and check out went seamlessly.I really appreciate that the Casita is available for couples looking to rent a private place. Most VRBO homes are appropriate for 4 people, so you end up paying for empty space.We like to cook with fresh local ingredients, and appreciated that the kitchen is well stocked. I'd recommend Casita Tortuga to anyone looking for a special trip to the Gulf of California."

"Condo was better than the pictures and the location was perfect being close to everything in town and steps to the beach. Staff are excellent throughout the property. Was great for kids with some separation. Hope to use this place again"
