"Our reservation for our booked homestay didn't come through so Olga and Carmelo were kind enough to let us stay with them, even though we arrived in the night. Olga speaks very good English and both Olga and Carmelo helped us a lot. The room is nice and the beds comfortable. There is airconditioning and a fan. "A unique set of cottages amongst a friendly family. Close to the main part of town but far enough away that you can enjoy some solace. The rooftop was the best part. We hung out up there admiring the "mogotes" and view of the valley. They have a generator so even with power outages, you have lights! Breakfast is $5 and plentiful with eggs, fruit, ham, cheese, toast, juice and coffee. Americans bring your passports as I only had a copy and that created a little issue but all was well."
