The beds were comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised at the comfort provided by the floor mattresses our children slept on. The linens were plentiful And the entire space had clear communication with placards that shared requests from the host. Would definitely book this location again if travelling in the area. "

The house was clean and well-kept, and the kitchen was stocked with many helpful items. We loved having a yard and a driveway with designated parking. "Wonderful home. You won't have any problems with staying here for a few nights. Location is a short drive to DC and to other attractions. The only advice I would suggest to the owners is the TV situation. The main living room TV was working fine, but one room upstairs had no TV, one had no media device at all, and the basement TV had no controller. Electronic fireplace controller batteries were dead and there was a laser pointer on the living room table as well. Also, the pots and pans could use...

"We stayed at this home Christmas week. It proved the perfect base for family aged 87 to 16. There was room enough for everyone to spread out. Commuications were excellent and host was very responsive. Our goal was to be able to have both traditional holiday dinners and gatherings and the adventure of exploring monuments and museums.The set up would also be convenient for families with younger children. If you want plush spa towels and fine linens - like you might expect at a hotel - bring them....
