"Wonderful property convenient walk to everything in the city to see and do. Was a little difficult to get to using Waze and google maps but that’s not the property’s fault. Owner was very helpful and quick to respond. Excellent property and would stay again if ever in the area. "

"It's a bit of a hike up to Sienna but the walk is worth it, you avoid a lot of the tourist crowds coming from this direction. There are some steep hills to the top of the town, so be warned but I would stay here again. Relatively simple check in and out, no complaints. "

"When we arrived at the property we had so many questions about the area! The staff was helpful and answered all of our questions with great patience. We only stayed for 1 night, but wish we had booked for more nights. We toured Siena during the day, but came back to the property for a beautiful sunset and dinner. "This was a place to stay. Period. Nothing more. Wi-Fi did not work. The overhead shower is broken and did not work. Pieces of the bathroom door fell off. There was no hot/warm water for 36 hours. No shelf/hook/anything to place your toiletries on. Perhaps I should have communicated with management? Oh, that’s right! I tried 3x. No response in 4 days time. "

"Fairytale castle style home style hotel in this beautiful medieval town. Be aware you can’t drive your car up into the old city - so pack light- you need to park outside the city walls and walk up. "Chambre en plein cœur du centre historique donc très bien situé pour visiter Sienne. Il nous a été indiqué une rue à 10mn à pied pour se stationner gratuitement. La chambre se situé au 4e étage sans ascenseur. Pour nous pas de problème mais c'est bon à savoir. "We absolutely adored Salvadonica, and would come back again in a heartbeat. The accommodations are great, the property is beautiful and the staff are amazing. There is ample parking, you’re fairly close to town and two Coop groceries, yet out in your own personal oasis. The breakfast is outstanding with great variety and a mixture of things you recognize and a few you may not. We had dinner there, and the light lunch, and our only quibble would be that the portions could be a little larger, and maybe not so much on the pricey side. That said the CDN dollar is likely to blame, and that is not their fault. If you’re looking to spend a few days away from it all in Italy and looking for a great place to relax, that’s in the heart of the Chianti region you really couldn’t find a better spot. "

"Staff was very proficient in English for the most part, with excellent communication and professional in service through and through. Restaurant on site was elegant with good variety of menu items, though a little pricey as expected. Quality of food was above average but not excellent as expected. Drive to this monastery was fairly easy with surrounding village somewhat accommodating in amenities and conveniences. Keep in mind you would need a car throughout your stay here. Siena is 10 minutes away by car, a must see for at least one day. "
