"Esme's was a wonderful place to spend a few days in Winchester, a short walk from the centre of town, the historic sights and beautiful surrounds. The bonus is Esme who was warm and welcoming and really made the stay special. Highly recommended. "

The property is very homely, in a very nice rural location, parking is within the farm, safe and secure. Jenny's team / family are all very welcoming and happy to help. "The listing never said the landlord would be living on the property which we found out when we arrived. The fridge was part full with her goods so we didn’t have as much space for our own food. The whole place had terrible cleanliness, the floors were sticky and one bathrooms shower door was broken. None of the pillows had pillow protectors and beddings weren’t ironed, fluff and hair was found on the bed on arrival. There was also no spare keys for the bedroom doors and when we contacted the...

"Great position in Newbury, very close to the main shopping street. Parking nearby was cheaper than onsite so we used that. Entry was easy with good instructions. It was very warm inside, we had to open the windows and turn off the heating. Nice and quiet in the building, we hardly saw or heard anyone else. Everything you needed for a short break was supplied. "
