"We stayed at La Cucina after Christmas. The villa is in a picturesque olive orchard and the grounds were lovely. Giuseppe was very flexible with our early check-in and showed us all the features in the house. We were lucky to have sunny weather, and we enjoyed the outdoor ping pong table. Traveling with children, we appreciated the washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable and the rooms warm and comfortable. We had a drainage problem with one of the showers and Giuseppe had someone in to clean the drain within 30 min. We purchased the Easy Package, and waking up to the delicious smells of baking and coffee was one of my favorite things. Breakfast and all meals were plentiful, restaurant quality and delicious, and Carla made a few adjustments for the one vegan in our group of 18. We also all enjoyed our pizza and tira misu lesson. Carla packed the leftovers from breakfast and meals in the fridge for us. It was a pleasure to use the spacious kitchen to reheat the food.The kindness of Giuseppe, Carla, and all the staff would be another reason I would return. "

Well stocked kitchen. We fell in love with Poggio Mirteto town. We had lovely walks, visited hill towns . Enjoyed Marmore falls and Narni in particular.. Easy access to train station in 20 minutes. Umberto on hand next door if there is a problem. Bliss...."

"Fabulous villa in a great location. The setting on the edge of the old town is fantastic, with a shop walking distance away, and the train station only a few minutes by car which we used to go to Rome on two days. We loved the views from the property out over the valley and the hills. Lovely secluded pool, again with great views. The villa was very comfortable, especially with the air con in the bedrooms. Really good communication from the host. Would definitely go again!"
