The view from the hotel looking out at the castle at night was stunning. The hotel is also right off the main street and we walked to the old part of town in less than 5 minutes. The adjacent restaurant is top-notch, and there are choices of several restaurants well worth visiting. I could not have had a better experience in any hotel in the entire country."

"Stunning location and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Had some problems finding it as signs to Pousada were poor, and no directions available. Parking is limited at hotel, although there is sufficient within walking distance. Steep slopes and steps to hotel itself, with no vehicle access, so you will need to carry your luggage some distance, although staff were happy to help. Once in the hotel however, the rooms, restaurant and support were excellent. Well worth a visit for the view...

"We booked two rooms overlooking the square. Each room was clean and very comfortable. The only odd thing is the glass wall to the bathroom. We are not used to this type of openess. Didn't ruin our stay but definitely a thing to think about if sharing a room with someone your not married to. Could get weird quick. The hotel was centrally located as well and close to the knights Templar castle. Overall, it was a great stay"
