"A nice hotel, about 25 min walk (or bus ride) from the city centre. Rooms were comfortable, the double bed was quite small but fine for one person. Breakfast was good value with a range of hot and cold options. Parking was available (for an extra fee) but it was a good base for a weekend away."

"Overall great stay, very friendly staff and clean hotel. Found us a table in restaurant whilst event was on which was very nice. Pool area was not very tidy, towels left everywhere as not clear message where to leave them. No conditioner available in gym/pool area, own goal. Room was clean just a bit tied around the edges, small older tv. "

"Perfect location, lovely common areas and rooms. Beds were a bit hard for my preference, but I like quite a soft mattress. The room was a bit too warm, because the AC is centrally controlled. But overall, I would recommend. "

"Nice clean hotel in central location. The Telegraph theme was very cool and gave a nod to a time when the building was an office for the Telegraph newspaper. The stairs and landing areas seem to have been retained as original and is really cool. "

"Easy check in, though I think £15 for 1 nights parking was a bit steep. We just wanted a bed for the night with no frills. The room was clean and tidy. The en-suite looked as if it was newly refurbished and had nice toiletries supplied. I would have liked a hand towel and another bath towel as there was only one between the two of us. But all in all, it provided what we needed for a one night stay. "
