"We stayed in the Kedelston room which was a lovely cosy room tastefully decorated and had all the extras that maybe required. Iron, ironing board, hair dryer, toiletries and sewing kit. The bar offered a cocktail menu along the usual drinks you would expect. We dined in the restaurant which had a nice atmosphere. The food was good quality and tasty and reasonably priced. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this place to others."

"This is a lovely friendly pub with excellent staff. The locals were welcoming as well. The beer brewed on the premises was excellent as was the food. I can't fault our stay there. Plenty of parking at the pub now, with a new car park. Handy travel time to Critch, Matlock and the Peak District. Located on the side of a steep hill, so walking anywhere is a good bit of exercise!"

"The hotel is very tastefully decorated and modern the staff very helpful and friendly the food excellent and cost was very reasonable. Whatever your expectations are they will surely be met and exceeded. If you are looking for a quiet oasis to relax and retreat from the hustle of daily life, this is it.
