"Great communication from the owner. Missing a few conveniences that would have been a nice touch (coffee pods, extra toilet paper, soap etc). Other than that the location was perfect. Right above a cool bar that wasn’t noisy at all. Slept with an open window and the sounds of the ocean waves. "

"This is the upper part of the house, Bettina and her family is super nice and friendly, the accommodation is clean and spacious, have a good vibe. Location: nature is just amazing there, one can make a good hike. The center of Sao Vicente is quite far 60 minutes by walk and the road is quite steep. The closest shop is approximately 30 minutes walk. We needed to work there and had issues with the internet connection (it was poor or non-existent), but the family was really friendly and helpful."

Although the location is a bit far from the city, there are many places worth exploring in Madeira. I think this is not a problem at all if you drive by yourself. In short, I recommend Anna’s house."
