"Hotel is located in front of the main plaza and is a couple of blocks away from the beach. It has a beautiful infinity pool in the roof. There are many restaurants at a walking distance and the hotel has a good and convenient restaurant on the first floor. WiFi may be weak in the rooms but if you need to download a film just walk down to the lobby. El Cuyo is a relaxing place and definitely this hotel helps to wind down. "

"It was an amazing experience ! First of all, El Cuyo is super cute and the people there are all extremely friendly and welcoming. It’s a tiny village where everyone knows each other, the energy is just superb. I also recommend eating ceviches, pulpo and tacos in those little « tiendas ». Davide (the hotel owner) is extremely friendly, as well as all his staff. He made sure I was having a nice time all through my stay, which I really appreciated it as a solo woman traveler. "Very nice place decent location but unfortunately when they electricity goes out, they don’t have back up generators and it’s really hot and muggy in your room. They give you a candle but with no lighter to turn it on I think for the amount of money you spend it should have a little back up generator to have the AC working. They only have a generator working on the common areas as in kitchen and bar. I guess they do that to keep the revenue coming in. "

"Lovely hotel steps from the beach (there are no beach clubs in El Cuyo so this is as close as it gets!). Room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony with a hammock and a roof terrace with amazing sunset views.
