"Warm friendly staff. Great central location. Facility was clean and comfortable. Bedrooms are accessed by spiral staircase only. This was not an issue for us personally, but could be a challenge if you have mobility issues."

"The room was good with a large bathroom and perfectly acceptable. But it wasn't great. No chairs to sit in, only window seats which were uncomfortable. We were in room 1, right by the front door so rather noisy until the restaurant closed and our window (with a great view) was by the front door, so it felt a bit like being in a goldfish bowl. Would I stay again? Maybe, it was OK, just not great."

"Owners were lovely, the bar had great cask ale and a very welcoming relaxed vibe. Food looked really good, but the property is a bit tired. Bedroom super clean and comfortable. Overall great value."
