"We had a wonderful time staying in this apartment. Its much larger than it appears on the photographs and is beautifully decorated and obviously loved. It is very well appointed and immaculately clean. We spent many a happy hour sipping drinks on the balcony with views of the lakes and mountains The location was perfect, with a few really nice restaurants a 5 minute walk away, some on the edge of the lake. "I will admit that i knew this property had no air conditioning. But, booking for the middle of September, I thought that we would be comfortable at night with open windows. HOWEVER, the street noise is very loud and goes all night!! You cannot sleep with the windows open. Save yourself some misery and restless sleep. The apartment is very cute and in a good location and this problem could be easily resolved for the future by adding some air conditioning!"

"Sehr schön. Sehr schöner Blick von der großen Terrasse auf den See, abends besonders schön, wenn die Lichter in Stresa oder auf der anderen Seite in Baveno leuchten. Der Strand ist nicht eit weg, vielleicht 15-20 min zu Fuß. Es ist abgeschlossenes Gelände. Das kann man auf einem zur Wohnung gehörigen überdachten Parkplatz abstellen. "This apartment was in a wonderful location near the water, restaurants and food shopping. Plenty of parking and convenient to the apartment. The apartment had everything you’d need for cooking, laundry and restful spaces. There was a cute porch with a view of a small chapel, a castle and the lake if you stood close to the railing. This location was so beautiful and restful. A great getaway for a couple!"

"The place was great. On point to the review online everything in place, clean, lots of free space for big families. Quiet and beautiful view. Amazing owners that helped us a lot in every way we needed. The only downside I think about is the mattress being quite old, older folks with back problems we had a hard time to sleep and wake up. "We had a very nice stay in this well located home. It is close to the ferry landing so you can hop on the ferry and visit other towns on the lake. The deck is amazing with great views. The town has a couple of fantastic restaurants. If you decide to stay be sure to bring soap and shampoo. Also, if you drive a car, parking is limited for a larger car. There is a parking spot at the bottom of the drive that works if it’s available. You’ll love this place! "

The host Sylvie and Ketty are very helpful with information ahead of time and in constant contact during your stay if you have questions or need anything. "The outlook is magnificent. Once you correctly negotiate the drive to the correct property, there is a pedestrian path down to the village which takes just over 10 minutes. The villa is spacious and eating in is a delight on the balcony. The wi-fi needs substantial improving but that was our only complaint. Very enjoyable. We are glad that we ignored some earlier negative reviews."
