"Great chalet on the outskirts of Val D'Isere with lots of space and a great layout for 2 families. its about a 10/15 minute walk into the main resort but there was bus stop right outside and a ski lift too so ski in/ski out. Beautifully warm too. The only thing we would have liked was a smart TV so the kids could have watched TV after long days on the slopes. We hope to return. thanks for a great stay"

"We are a family of four, with two college-age children, and had a wonderful stay at the Samovar. We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was perfect for us (with two beds in a spacious upstairs loft). The hotel is perfectly located -- literally across the street from the Dailles gondola (and only about a block from the funicular to the summit). "The chalet was absolutely perfect for our requirements. We were a group of 11, being two families (including some of our children's partners) and found the chalet had plenty of space to accommodate us all. The bedrooms all being en-suite was a bonus and the boot storage area and lower hallway was great as it kept all their coats, boots, shoes etc. out of the main living/kitchen area!
