"Every single staff member was an absolute pleasure to speak with. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a balcony, air conditioning and a fridge as well as a TV. The common areas were always kept spotless. The shared social area/bar was a great place to relax, grab a drink and some food or play a board game. "We had four nights here and were treated exceptionally well from start to finish. The hotel is a bit older with some minor hiccups and smaller rooms, but the location and hospitality of the staff far exceeded our expectations. If we could give more stars than 5 for the staff, we would. Everyone - from front desk, restaurant and housekeeping were very kind and welcoming. Fantastic location, mere metres from the beach. Would recommend and would stay here again. "

"very close to beach (4 min walk), nice and quiet neighborhood with many 1-2 storey apartment houses and villas, still in 10 min. walking distance to main street restaurants, the hotel has a very nice restaurant with good food. It is popular by families with kids. The space for 4 adults is not too much, but this is expected and OK for a short 3-night stay."

"Stayed there 2 nights. The place are apartments with kitchen and fully equipped. Good WIFI, great pool, spacious, clean apartments. Location is walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Plenty of parking. They do not provide bath soap, shampoo or towels. They rent towels for €5, but they were nice enough and didn’t charge me. I checked in earlier than expected and they didn’t charge me extra, but I got a third floor unit and no elevators."

"Cosy property and very nice staff. Since it is a small hotel (8 or so rooms) the staff could check in with guests to make sure they were happy which was nice. My girlfriend and I missed breakfast one day which they noticed and thinking we missed it because we were unhappy with the selection, the next time they saw us they asked if there was anything we would want included to make us happier which was very nice of them. "

"Amazing hotel! Located very far from central places in the heart of the mountains with a great view. A large and varied spa, one of the best I've met. Excellent outdoor swimming pool. A spacious suite with a double jacuzzi. The car park is adjacent to the suite. Excellent breakfast and dinner was also good. The place looks much better than what you see in the pictures on the website. It is highly recommended!"

"This is the best hotel I've stayed in, I stayed in a small room and it was positively luxurious! I spent my time walking to and from the beach, and I could not have had an easier walk. Good hiking nearby too. Fantastic staff, absolutely sparkling room, and even though I had the most inexpensive room, it still had a balcony with seating??? Could not have had a better stay."

"This was probably one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Europe. The location, the facility, the rooms, the breakfast, the beach…. Absolutely everything was so amazing! We loved it so much. Our room was incredible. The spa is amazing. I can’t say one bad thing about it, only that you should definitely come here ! "

"Fantastic location, walking distance to lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. Beach is right in front of the hotel and is packed but clean. Check in and check out were super fast and easy. The front desk staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Rooms are dated, but clean. The food was mediocre at best, I would recommend eating breakfast on the resort and having dinner off resort."

House on the Costa Brava, near the beach-Free Wifi. Air conditioning

Well appointed and close to town/beach

"Two families stayed here in this well presented property. With 4 adults and 4 children we had plenty of space to either interact all together on the balcony or lounge area, or take ourselves away in one of the 4 bedrooms for some alone time. The bedrooms were comfortable. 3 of which had there own Aircon. The one at basement level had a fan and naturally remained cooler due to its position. Our one and only teenager who stayed in that room appreciated the more isolated space! The kitchen was well appointed with what one would expect. Our cooking in house was limited to eggs for breakfast as we mostly ate out or just needed a few utensils and crockery for cereal and sandwiches, which the property all had plenty of for 8 people. Outside space was great with a good sun shade gazebo which we could retract in the afternoon after the sun passed over and was a good addition and much needed when at the large outside table. Parking was easy with 1 spot in the garage and on street parking available but not always able to get spot in front of property as quite busy but within 1 minute walk from property maximum. Location to beach/town was excellent both accessible within 10min walk and was the highlight as we went to the beach most days. We had an awesome stay at the property and Platja d'Aro!"
