"Difficult one to award stars. The hotel itself, appearance and setting is fantastic. The service and quality of food was exceptional as was the value for money. The one thing that was a huge disappointment was the room. We stayed in room 12. The bed, I think, was installed when the hotel was built, it was so uncomfortable that neither of us slept for more than a couple of hours. "A hidden gem that the photographs of the interior of the property don’t do justice. Breakfast was excellent and more than enough, I will definitely be booking again."

"I can’t praise this hotel enough I’ve stayed all over the world in some fabulous hotels but this was outstanding. From the moment we arrived our host Pam made us more than welcome even allowing us to take part in their Burns night that they had on that evening . If you’re visiting this area and are lucky enough to get a room this has got to be the best place to stay ."

"It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs."
