"There's no doubt that The Boat Inn is a lovely, traditional pub in a super location, right on the banks of the Wye with good views of the river from the bedrooms above the pub. The surroundings are wooded and distinctly bosky, which is nice. There is a small village (Redbrook) with a village shop a few hundred metres away across an old railway bridge. The Boat serves excellent food, but only on certain days - Thursday to Sunday, from memory. BUT beware of the journey there, from the main roads:...

"Such a lovely place, very spacey especially for the location. Literally a home from home. Communication was amazing from the host. And answered all the questions I had to ask. Even though on a busy road. Never once had an issue with noise or anything. Had such a lovely stay and I will be returning and recommending to friends and family members visiting the area"

"The appartement was very nice and spacious, and very well maintained. The location is very 'remote' and access is via single lane country roads which are quite bumpy but this wasn't really a problem for us. It's worth noting that the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and there is no downstairs toilet. (might be useful information for people with mobility issues). Overall, a really nice break in a lovely location. The host was very helpful and knowledgeable."

Very comfortable and would stay there again. Brilliantly positioned close to the Wye, ice cream van, coffee shop, playing fields, Cathedral and town!"
