"We had a great 3 days staying at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge. The location is beautiful, perfect for walking and exploring. Ned was really helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The family room was comfortable and had everything we needed, we also had use of the communal lounge and kitchen which was well equipped and we used for breakfast. We’d definitely come back!"

"The place is easy to find even without a car. Although since we hike up pyg track early in the morning, we needed to walk going to penny pass since no taxi nor buses is available at around 5am"

"It was our worst place we have stayed no service at all very bad condition dirty rooms and everything is old and used I do not recommend anyone to stay here please do not book this don’t make this mistake as we did it’s stinks all dirty and nasty "

The views are breathtaking and we loved the country walk down to the pebble beach, with its Incredibly old, beautiful trees. I had the amazing opportunity to witness a hawk courtship dance in the sky above the Bluebell Hut. The hut is small but amazingly well outfitted and comfortable!"

"All previous reviews cover it really. The house has everything you need to have a great week, cook large meals if needed, heating more that sufficient to battle even minus temperatures outside, modern windows that open (something we’ve found old properties often don’t have) for summer months. It’s location at the end of 2 miles of single track (plenty of passing places) means no through traffic. One house and a farm beyond us meant the only vehicles we saw was delivery drivers. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Tilman again. It was a return trip after a similarly excellent visit last year. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Location was perfect. 10/10!!"
