"Wonderful lodge , spacious clean and very comfortable with an outside area. 5 stars all round. I thought the front doors could do with a little care and paint but otherwise everything was perfect "

"Property was located right in the heart of Wrexham, with easy/convenient walk from the train station. Numerous bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Staff was extremely friendly on check-in. Room and bed were very comfortable for my two night stay. Bathroom fixtures were a little dated, however, everything was very clean and worked perfectly. Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the bar/restaurant but looked like a nice place. Wonderful hotel, especially for the price. Won’t hesitate to stay here again next time we’re in town."

"We had an overnight stay, checked in quickly, lovely location. Excellent food in the restaurant, very comfy bed and the option to use leisure facilities till 4pm on day of check out. Great value, will visit again. "

"All the staff at the Royal Oak couldn’t have done anything more to help us during our stay. From advising us how to get to Pen-Y-Pass, which routes to take up Snowdon and where is good to eat. The food was great and a good range of options for all on the menu. Hotel itself is a little tired and could do with decorating in some places but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to do Snowdon again (which is likely) and would recommend it to others as well. "
