"The rooms were a little smaller than the other locations we'd stayed. We enjoyed their hot tubs & appreciated the option to have Northern Lights phone call if they became visible during the night. We enjoyed the in room coffee & tea. "

"This is our second Foss Hotel we stayed at on this trip. We booked another Foss because the first one was so great. Thus one was even better. Again, a warm welcome and a welcome warmth after a long day on the road. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. "

"My son and I were traveling and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was close to many sites. The breakfast was great and had so many choices. We also celebrated my birthday with dinner here. The food was very good and our waiter was fabulous!!"

"This was a cute little hotel. More like a guest house over a restaurant. The room was lovely and the bathroom decent and clean. There is a shared kitchenette and small lounge area on each floor for guests. The guesthouse is above a cute restaurant with delicious food, and in the main area of Akureyri, so it was very walkable to other restaurants and shops. Parking was easy across the street from the hotel as well and staff were friendly and efficient. "

"The host left our key and directions to our cabin at the check in. We were pleasantly surprised by a larger cabin than we had booked. We didn’t see the host until we checked out two days later. The kitchen was functional. No towels were provided for bathing. The northern lights were visible both nights we were there. "

"Very quiet and remote, which is what we were looking for. Spectacular views from all the windows! Perfect for watching the Northern Lights. Grocery stores and restaurants were only 25 minute drive in good weather. Very comfortable beds. Spacious 2 bedroom accommodations to spread out. Good cooking facilities. All appliances worked well!
