"This was a great spot and exceeded expectations. The game room was well stocked with nice cues and a great TV set up. Can't overstate how pleased we were with the overall vibe. Only complaint is the check in and out times. 10am makes it hard to fully enjoy the last night of the stay without having to start packing for an early departure. "

"This would have been a great stay but the management did not say that there was a lot of construction being done on the hotel. My wife and I walked to our room to find a bunch of workers in most of the rooms. This was very unsettling because they were in every room but ours and it was a mess. Once we entered our room it didn’t get any better, it was not clean at all and the shower did not drain. The microwave was there but not close to a plug. "3 couples enjoyed this lovely home to have a relaxing birthday weekend. The hime was just as pictured. This is my second time staying here and it won’t be my last. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the screened in porch! "

"We had an amazing time at Claire and Kelly’s place. Plenty of room for 8 people and at least 4 more. House was nice and pier was great. My son brought his boat and stayed from Sunday-Sunday. Pretty much had the river to ourselves other than a few other boats."

Comfortable Shaded Deck during the daytime. Easy access canal to the lake located just behind.

"Great day trip to fish although the fish weren’t biting. We celebrated my dad’s 80th birthday with a small group. It was perfect place for storing and serving food. Had the feel of a full size home. Lots of space outside. The deck was a lovely space to sit and socialize, with good shade."

"We had a great weekend in False River! For most of us, it was our first experience at an LSU game and needed a good place/location for the game. Ma Mamma’s is a great place for evening meal. Great food and perfect place to take a big group or just your special someone. The house was clean, spacious and provided everything and more for our group. I would definitely recommend this place for a great stay. Great communication by the owner too!!"

"The house size was great- we enjoyed the location. House has a few issues that if fixed would make the space awesome. We had 10 people staying here with plenty of room for everyone. House has a few issues like leaking shower and wonky kitchen floor that were a tiny bit concerning. Host was very nice. House could use a few more things for guests to use such as kitchen pots and pans. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
