The grounds keeper was a delightful person worth her weight in gold. As a whole, the plantation was idyllic. The room was pleasant. Would have been very nice to have a refrigerator and ice machine more readily available. The tours were very informative, fun, and interesting. The restaurant on the grounds was outstanding.

This was my second time at the Myrtle’s, and it will not be my last. Lord willing. Everyone involved with the property is very kind and knowledgeable about the historic past. We didn’t have a spooky experience, but just being there was magical.

Very cool and historic site. Lots of construction going on during out stay, including the noise of constant chain saws when trying to enjoy the nature on the front porch of the cabin. Cabin itself was extremely hot, A/C worked during the day but did not cut on at all during the night time.
