"Beautiful grounds with Zebras and Giraffes wandering around. Very warm welcome from their welcoming staff and everyone was great. That being said, the lady who processed our check in was rather peculiar and annoying. We were tired after a long journey and she just seemed to be relentless and making us book restaurants at the hotel for every night of our stay and said how they get full service quickly. They don’t. Seemed to almost hold the room key hostage until we had made some bookings which we later cancelled. Everything else about this hotel is perfect with exception of the WiFi being patchy and slow. Would definitely recommend."

"Maramba was a stopover as part of my drive to South Africa. Although only here for one night, the accommodation was comfortable and the grounds were lovely. I saw a lot of birds, a crocodile and an elephant while sitting on the deck by the river. I had not expected that much wildlife. Katherine at check-in was helpful and amazing. She gets 5 stars. The wait staff at the restaurant was a little slow - I think they might have been understaffed. And the outdoor shower had not been swept when the staff came in for turn down service (which was an unexpected treat). I would come again!"

"Great hotel near the falls with charming staff and comfortable rooms. The gardens abound with animals (zebra by the pool) and it’s just next to the falls entrance. They provide free shuttkes to the Royal Livingsone hotel so easy to go there for dinner."
