We and 2 other couples arrived by ferry. walked to the property, and then waited about 40 mins to check in and weren't offered air conditioned room or a cold drink while we waited. the owner had something else (private) he needed to do, and it didn't occur to him to leave keys or instructions for us. "Stayed for 2 weeks, great views from up the steps and hill from the harbour square. We were met at the ferry and taken on a little town tour up to the studios, Livadia is lovely little town with a selection of good tavernas and a stony beach. The studios are comfy and quiet apart from some noisy air conditioning units outside causing some disturbance at night. Typical Greek studios and usual hospitality."

"We had a wonderful stay at Tilos Fantasy apartments. The apartment was very well equipped, clean and spacious with a lovely view from the balcony. Our host Nicholas was most helpful and friendly and went out of his way to make our stay memorable. We enjoyed our Greek coffee under the big tree one evening - thank you!"

Once we eventually checked in, he tried hard to be helpful. One of the reasons we booked was because it had a washing machine in the room. (unfortunately not allowed to use it). owner did do washing for us, but not very convenient. he tried to make amends. rubbish collected daily, but they did leave doors and windows unlocked. The location to the port/restuarants/beach is superb, and supermarkets and bakery very close. A great place to stay if the owner is having a good day."
