"Arrived very late, flight delays and then a road closure forcing a substantial detour. Thankfully my room card had been left out with a useful note and I was able to access the room. It was cold, no curtains, and couldn't figure out the heating but the bed was warm and that was all I cared about! Shower okay in the morning, Job done. Thanks."

"Location for Stansted Airport good, in country though. Nice room, bed & shower but dinner is only up to 8:30pm and no breakfast available for early flights as it’s only served from 8am and needed to leave by 7:15. They did offer a takeaway breakfast but it was poor (they don’t normally offer it) and needs to be organised properly for it to be beneficial to the customer."

"Our stay was beyond amazing. The room was so homely and cosy, we loved it. We had an evening meal and a breakfast, the food was incredible. The staff at dinner and breakfast were so kind and welcoming, professional, completely faultless. The staff made the stay that much more special, so thank you. We cant wait to stay again. "

"Excellent in one word, Very good stay so far, I love their perception about their guests, they made room warm before we get in there which I liked the most and everything available in the room itself from tea to iron box (Small fridge, Microwave with clean bowels, fan, luggage rack, refreshments in fridge). Good experience"

"This worked out great for our family. We spent most of our time in nearby Bishop’s Stortford with family. For rest, morning coffee and winding down in the evening, this place was perfect. It was clean and quiet, the mornings and evenings were cool and calm, very relaxing. The place is a bit remote, but that was easily remedied by the superior taxi service we experienced during our stay. We would strongly consider staying again on future visits and feel comfortable passing along this...

"Park view to lovely and great value for money however a couple of points - Poor signage no additional info sent on location, so hard to find. Key in lock box but no lighting switched on so had to fiddle with phone and open box on darkness. Room lovey but one of the bottles of water left half drunk already!. Also woken twice in the night, once at 2.30 0am by people shouting outside my room. The space is very open and and echoey so therefore noisy. As a single female traveller it made me feel...

"Such a beautiful stay at the Staycation Maldon. Very nice location at the heart of the high trees. The suite was very beautifully decorated for Christmas and this really made it very special. Spacious rooms with kitchen made it super convenient and comfortable. Aircon/Heating unit in every room was super required due to the cold weather. My wife and I loved it and for sure will be back again 100% recommend!"
