"This is a lovely historic property, close in proximity to Hollywood and Universal Studios. The room and overall residence is clean, cozy and welcoming. The host, TJ is incredibly attentive and a charmer. Refreshments and Breakfast is top-notch. All-in-all, a wonderful stay."

"Overall my stay wasn't bad. My only issues were that my private bathroom was not private. It was the communal bathroom for the social area and looked like it was cleaned monthly. I found lots of dust and hair and two of the lightbulbs were burnt out. The bedroom was nice but while the rest of the house stayed warm, the room was always cold."

"I chose Sierra Madre cottage as it was close to my daughter’s home. I was greeted by Tom (along with lovely fresh baked goodies from a local bakery). The cottage had everything I need (especially air conditioning as I’m not used to the scorching California sun). The pool was definitely an added bonus. Thank you both for a wonderful stay and best wishes for your future plans."

"High quality place to stay in an upper middle class neighborhood. Vivien (owner) was absolutely charming and friendly. The unit is very new and everything radiates quality. It is utterly quiet with a small unit clothes washer/dryer, small refrigerator, gas stove, TV with included NetFlicks and Amazon, forced air AC. . There is a nice couch and kitchen table.
