"Beautiful property and loaded with special touches that made us feel right at home. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the game room and prepared meals in fully equipped kitchen and could make morning smoothies, which was a plus!The view from the front windows and patio were spectacular and communication with the owner excellent. Nothing negative to say for our visit. The only potential issue I see for others would be families with small children who like to run up and down stairs.Our family would definitely book this property again.Thanks for providing such a great spot! "The town of Eureka is small and the amenities are few. We didn’t come to see Eureka necessarily, but go to other places from there. The location of this place was perfect — Main Street — and it had everything that we needed. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will do it again! "

"As soon as we opened the door, we knew we hit the jackpot when finding this place! We loved it as soon as we saw it. The whole place is clean and organized, everything we could think of was already provided to us: clean towels, soap, shampoo, dishes and cutlery, etc. We were only staying here cause we needed a place to stay during the nights, but I really wish we had the time to explore the property a bit more. I feel like I missed out a lot! We got lost the first couple of nights trying to find the place in pitch black, so if you can try checking in during the day and make note of landmarks and when to turn in. THAT SAID, I think part of the appeal is that it is so secluded from everything. Mark and Pattie were extremely friendly and welcoming and we were glad to meet them before we left for our daily adventures. We've been looking to purchase some land for the last few years and this is exactly the type of cabin I've pictured building on it, so finding this gem was an added bonus. If I were to make one small comment about it, I would say getting the hot water in the shower took a bit of figuring out, so be sure to ask Mark or Pattie if there's a trick to it if you can't get it going. Not sure if it was just us. But ultimately it was a very minor thing and had no impact on an otherwise pleasant stay. I'm definitely planning on coming back here when I come back to Eureka again.
