"I loved staying on the East side of the island. If you want peace and quiet look no further. This casita is away from droves of people and lots of activity. The coral reef is amazing to snorkel. You can bird watch, see beautiful sunsets and firefly’s light up the night sky. So thankful for Misty and Matt’s hospitality."

"New construction was an annoyance but I survived it. Was quiet at night and they helped to keep noise to a minimum. Other qualities helped overshadow construction issues. This property faces best beach in world. Go because of that. Great restaurants within easy walking distance. Owner lives onsite with sons to help run the place."

"We rented the 2 bedroom luxury condo I will list the pros and cons Pros A huge 2 bedroom room unit Staff all very friendly ( not much English) and try very hard We never ran out of towels The views from the apartment were spectacular. Cons Like hike up a hill, there was suppose to be a golf cart to take you up but it was out of commission House keeping basically consist of towel change and floor swept, Never was our bed made , floor washed sinks or mirrors cleaned. "Becca and her staff were so helpful and wonderful for our entire trip. It is not in the middle of the tourist trap areas, but they are close if you want to go visit. So, if you are seeking the busy hustle bustle- you can get to west end in 5-10 minutes and a $10 taxi drive. It is right off the reef and we used a kayak to go visit the reef and it was very nice. "Beautiful property. Great ambiance and friendly staff. We had a bungalow and the ceiling fan motor was not working properly and we called for maintenance and it was replaced within an hour. Unbelievable response. We were asked by several staff how our stay was and if there was anything they needed to do to improve. If you are wondering if it’s worth it, the answer is a big YES. You will love it here. They’ve thought of everything "

"What do we like about this property? For us it's perfect. The same friendly staff have been there year after year with us and know us well. Before I even need to ask, based upon previous stays, the staff have already arranged our transportation for us. They make attempts to put us in the same suites we've stayed in so it feels like we are coming home to the island. This is a boutique hotel with not many rooms. This makes it so we end up spending time with the other guests while lying around the plaza and we now have many friends we see each year at the same time. This hotel has an arrangement with the resort next door to allow guests access to many swimming pools and beach chairs with service. We feel like we are visiting our second home, a condominium on the beach, when we stay at the La Placita. "
