Host was very welcoming and flexible about check in.Great kitchen space with a good range of cooking pots and pans.Ely is within walking distance with a lovely market a couple of days per week: some great local produce.The cathedral was lovely and with a short walk to the riverside. "This is a lovely, spacious and well-appointed house. It was too hot to make best use of the duvets, but the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a dishwasher to avoid the washing up. The powered recliners were especially welcome after a day of much walking. Naturally there is quite a lot of farm activity in the area, but it was far enough away not to be intrusive, and the people on the farm were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a property to remember."

"Stayed over Easter 2023 and had a fantastic time at Beck Cottage. Well equipped with everything needed for a short stay, with great communication beforehand from the owners. Beds were comfy and TVs in the two bedrooms were a bonus. Price was very good considering the facilities and the location. The hot tub in the garden was great as were the scones, clotted cream, jam and Prosecco waiting on arrival. "The apartment was very tired, the kitchen tap was out of position and was dripping, the bathroom sink was blocked, Coat hanger was off the wall. Only found instructions to download inside cupboard door as we left on how to operate appliances. No broom provided to clean terrace, chairs full of blossom. Very minimal provision of kitchen equipment. The location and ease of getting into Cambridge was very good, did not use catering, but nearby Sainsburys was a very useful. Receptionist very helpful....

"this is a lovely quite place to stay and beautiful birds. meer cat , and gold fish, little cafe on site and a shop of books on birds and information on the bird charity, the apartments has microwave and fridge, cutery, plate ect and big supermarkets 2 mile down the road, we cooked a lovely meal and got some treats had a lovely time, and all the birds are looked after very well."
