There is a real noise problem, that they are not addressing. There has been no answer to the following:

Thank you for the response. It is much appreciated.
However, although very reassuring what you have put, it is worded as if you were not aware of it? This is incorrect as I did see some previous reviews on the noise level, which also dated back some time. We also spoke to the receptionist who was also fully aware of it and lastly you had put ear plugs in the room, which is the first time we have ever seen that!
You may say if I had seen the reviews why did I go ahead with the booking? I assumed being a responsible hotelier that it had been sorted. How wrong I was.
I would like to know how this is going to be improved for future guests as I would not want this to happen to others, who are trying to get to sleep at a reasonable hour. I would also like to be compensated for my stay.
Based on the above I will then do my official review.
