"What an amazing place! The Laurel Villa was so convenient, and so beautiful and comfortable. We loved our room, and the breakfast was delicious. The bike tour with Wayne was the high light of our stay. It is obvious he loves Sun moon Lake, and all of the stories were so interestiing. We wished we had booked another nigh."

"Beautiful property located 1.5 hr from the Alishan Forest Recreational area. However it is fairly close to Eryanping Trail which is one of the best places to see the sunset. The hosts are very kind and accomodating and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are very clean and breakfast and dinner (hotpot) were both delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a try"

"Comfortable and not expensive, it was a decent rest stop on our bicycle trip. There was nothing outstanding about the rooms, and I wasn’t happy with the cigarette ashes under the bed and the smoke smell in our ‘no smoking’ room. "Very Zen ambience. Lots of rules though. No rules that impacted my stay but some of the rules were strange. Such as if you are drinking and vomit on the bed you pay extra for cleaning. It never occurred to me that this was a hotel issue. Luckily I don’t over indulge and fortunately I didn’t get the flu and get sick in bed so it was a non issue.
