Although it was a short walk downhill to the Roman amphitheater, the uphill climb is not for someone who would rather not exert themselves. "It was old world charming. The perfect place to relax. Night views were incredible. The staff was wonderful. We loved our room. It’s isolated beach front so to get to the center and top of Taormina you have to walk up the road and take the cable car. We loved it! Grazie tanto. "
