It has a central location near to both Windermere and Bowness yet high enough on a hill to have views of Lake Windermere from rooms and public spaces. "This us the 3rd time we have stayed. We are usually in an appartment in the hall itself and have always had a fantastic time. I was abit disappointed that we weren't staying in the hall this time but as it turned out we still had the best time. We stayed in a 2 bedroom appartment and it was massive. Wonderful relaxing stay

"Had a wonderful stay for my Birthday. Every member of staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Hot tub was clean and ready for us as soon as we arrived. The attention to detail at this hotel makes all the difference! Spa facilities were perfect we enjoyed a lovely few hours in the evening with a couple of Proseccos and then another lovely couple of hours in the morning with a coffee. Best hotel I’ve stayed in so far in the lakes, cannot recommend enough! "
