"We chose this property as it was one of the cheaper places to stay in Rotterdam and this is reflected in the basic amenities provided. We had to ask for a kettle and there was only a small combi oven and microwave. There was no hairdrier. The flat is up 2 flights of steep stairs which is fine as long as you are fit. The flat is a good location and onky a 10 minute walk from the station and good access to transport"

"We found the narrow and dark stairs very challengin. No hair dryer and bathroom floor was very slippery.. Larger towels would have been nice. Extra bkankets shoukd be in the cupboard- not asked for."

"This property has 2 rentals next to each other. Carola and Joris are very approachable and wonderful hosts. They want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Each unit is newly renovated and comfortable for 1-2 people to stay in. It is conveniently located near the Maxima Park, shops and lots of beautiful bike and walking paths. Next to the property is a large farm - which has a great store with fresh, local foods open on Thu-Sat. The area is very safe and friendly. Parking is free....

"The room is eclectic. Lighting fixtures hanging from the ceiling remains from a coop store. A bathroom that is separated from the room by a brick wall. Very practical for a single traveler as myself. The community kitchen was nice and coffee great. I throughly enjoyed my visit and will return someday."

"What a fantastic property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ‘De Duif’, a great home, well equipped and in the midst of amazing nature! We loved travelling up the canal and to the lake in the rowing boat and also enjoyed day trips to Amsterdam and Utrecht! We would love to come back! "Some oddities were: -No lip on shower stall, water floods floor -Doors inside the unit either slammed or didn't stay closed -No effort was made to create an attractive, inviting space -separate and very small toilet and shower areas Positives: -location, very close to Central Station for trains, trams, buses, etc. -beds were comfortable -large kitchen/seating area -very clean -very private space "
