"We stayed as a relatively young couple for our first trip to the Cotswolds. The inn was lovely and cosy, particularly with the fire in the pub area of the inn. "Lovely village pub, with a friendly welcome. Food was great, room clean and comfortable. When informed that I'd have to leave before breakfast, there was no hesitation in providing me with a packed continental breakfast of croissants, yogurt, juice and jam. I think I've found a new favourite for when I'm working in the area!"

"This was our 9th time here, as a group of fellow motorcyclists, this place is a Central meeting place for all of us. The Dog house could do with a lick of paint, but it is clean. Good selection of drinks, decent meals and a good breakfast. "

"The bar has an exceptionally friendly atmosphere and an open fire just like pubs used to have engendered to a large extent by the charismatic French landlord. The food was excellent, our room was clean and comfortable and whole atmosphere was superb. We'll be back!"

"We stayed for 2 nights for a special birthday. The communications beforehand were informative and friendly. When we arrived the welcome was warm and the property was lovely. It was exactly as described as well as being clean and well equipped. The outside space was also excellent with a good sized, enclosed and safe garden.
